Belton Farm Roasted Figs with Smoked Red Fox, Walnuts & Honey

  • 6 ripe figs, rinsed

    50g Smoked Red Fox cut into six pieces

    20g chopped walnuts

    Runny honey

    Sea salt & black pepper

    Flat leaf parsley or rocket

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200c.

     

    Cut a cross in the top of each fig, cutting to about halfway down. Place a piece of cheese in each fig and top with a few chopped walnuts.

     

    Put the figs on a lined baking sheet and bake in the oven for around 6-8 minutes.

     

    Remove from the oven, leave to cool for a couple of minutes, drizzle with honey, season lightly and top with a little chopped parsley or a rocket leaf.

     

    Serve warm with drinks.
